Dreamfall Kickstarter passes million-dollar milestone

1:15 PM on 02.22.2013

It's been over 10 years since The Longest Journey was released, but we're still going to be getting another addition to this classic adventure series. Dreamfall Chapters was announced last year and the project started a Kickstarter campaign for funding a few weeks ago.

Not even a full month later, Red Thread Games has already raised over $1 million. To celebrate this milestone, they've released a new video showing off one of the game's locations, Europolis, which is a cyberpunk version of Europe embodied in one city. The developers will also be jumping onto Twich.tv to livestream a marathon of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey starting today at 12:00pm Eastern.

The Kickstarter will still be running until March 10, so it's not to late to help fund this project. If you pledge at least $20 bucks, you'll get a copy of the game when it's done, and it looks like it could be pretty good.
