Playing this is awesome. It was the forefather of QTE, even if Shenmue and Resident Evil 4 are what made that popular.
For those of your around during the Atari 2600 days, when the games you played at home looked nothing even remotely like their stand up arcade counterparts, you no doubt remember how amazing Dragon's Lair (and Space Ace) looked when you first saw it.
They were like playing cartoons, and very unique. Frustratingly hard, but in a league of their own.

Somehow beyond my ability to comprehend and sometimes I think it could only mean someone is in cahoots with the devil ... It has gone on to be ported to EVERY game system under the sun ... in one way shape and or form.
Ahh Dragons lair ... I remember "playing" it in the arcade .... put two quarters in and couldn't get it to respond... so I got to see him get hit in the face with a frying pan two or three times and gameover. Needless to say I never looked back.
I will give it props tho ... in the event of a nuclear holocaust there shall be but three things that remain. Twinkies, cockroaches and dragons lair.

I remember my Brothers had this on the Amiga when we were kids. My eldest brother wouldn't let me play it because he wanted me to grow up with my Soul intact.

I'm not sure how much better it will be than the Blu-ray version that came out a while ago. In fact, it'll likely be worse due to being highly compressed.

Dragon's Lair coming to PS3? that's great since it reminds me i'd like to pick up the Wii version for cheap. I figure a $10 (probably $15) price point for PSN compared to the three games included on the Wii disc if I can grab it for $10-15. Trophies are fun but don't make up for the two extra games.
Well, whatever good you may have done with your scathing review of Heavy Rain, Jim, has been eclipsed by chuckleheads on this site who mention Heavy Rain IN EVERY SINGLE POST having to do with the PS3, even when there is NO earthly whatsoever reason to do so. Troll feast provided.
see, I was expecting some 3d thing attached to this. Sadly it's just another port of the most ported game that's ever been ported. This time in 720P!
THIS IS ALREADY OUT!!! Ive had it for 2 years, they just called it a BLURAY game. Glad this is finally getting attention though. But be warned it's a FRUSTRATING to play as it was in the arcade as a kid. So frustrating.

I have it on Blu-ray, as well as Time Warp and Space Ace. I value my hard drive space. Thanks but no thanks.
