Slipped into the PSN update yesterday was a 720p trailer for Dragon's Lair, which we now present for your entertainment. You may recognize it from arcades in the 1980's who had yet to change the setting which mutes audio in demo mode because it's exactly the same thing, save for an ESRB rating and Digital Leisure's logo preceding it.
So, Dragon's Lair is coming to PS3 in 720p and will even have leaderboards so you can see how many people were actually willing to spend the time necessary to achieve a perfect run in the game. Most importantly, it will come with a feature which lets you watch the game from beginning to end as if it were a perfect run. Assuming they achieve a perfect port of the arcade experience, people will be wanting to use that after the game fails to recognize an action for the thousandth time so they can see the end and then never play Dragon's Lair again.
You know what the best part of Dragon's Lair is? Not being the one in the room playing it.
