Are they going to sell us like 40% game, where the 60% is already done but disc lock content, like they did with the other ones?
I'm really hyped for Dragon's Dogma. Capcom has been dropping the ball as of late, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction
I really like the dark fantasy setting. Almost looks like Dark Souls but less oppressive. Hope combat is smooth as it seems that things can get frantic pretty quickly. Also looking forward to the slow and painful death of many creatures. Though my heart goes out to that griffon. Flying and on fire just seems wrong.
Was I the only one humming the Ghostbusters theme there for a while? Because I think I'm not the only one. So looking forward to how this peculiar Monster Hunter except in a "classic" fantasy-world is going to turn out.
Also, something that has been brought to my attention lately. Whatever your feelings on Capcoms DLC practices hear this: Not buying Dragon's Dogma simply for that reason doesn't make them see some red flag going "man, they really don't like our DLC practices as seen in SF x Tekken, we should change"...they see a chart with shit sales and they think people don't like the game. The only reason they keep throwing the DLC out there like they do is because people, maybe not you, but someone...is buying it. The only way to make them stop with the crazy DLC is to not buy the DLC.

I have been looking forward to this game for ages. I've been following it almost since it was first announced when the only site they had for it was the japanese one.
It has the potential to rival the elderscrolls series if it has future sequels planned.
If it ends up with a pc modding scene then it will be even more of a threat, unfortunately no swimming though which is a bummer but the customisation looks awesome and I too thought ghostbusters in those vids lol.

Thing is when you add any sort of online component usually something is sacrificed. While I too would like more of a co-op experience I will be happy with this pawn sytem for now.
Dont forget this is the first time Capcom have tried this sort of open world action rpg theme as they are usually more into making more arcadey titles so future DD games will be dependant on this games success.

This trailer is hilariously rag-doll clip-tastic... and I freaking LOVE IT! I can't wait to slash through an open world fantasy ARPG with tech combat mechanics. It's like a beautiful offspring of Skyrim and Dark Souls... I must have it!!!
I'm with you, Jim. I'm much more hyped for this title than either RE:6 ("Get this...you can move AND shoot!") or DMC.
Only Capcom game I'm buying day 1 (bar any dlc bullshit). It's a chance yes, but I'd rather support a new ip (western monster hunter actually) than anything else they have coming. Taking a wait and see RE6 and even then won't pay more than $40 for it, like I did with ME3.
im not going to get it, not because capcom, or their evil dlc practices, not picking up because there's no pc version =[ maybe i'll pick it up used/cheap way later on ps3.
