Excellent. Capcom, I know we've had our differences, but if you put out a legitimate quality expansion and not just like...weapon and fetch quest packs, I'll buy it. I loved Dragon's Dogma. Hard mode update sounds like a blast, too! I'm a walking god at this point so I wouldn't mind getting to bump up the challenge again.
My inclination of a Gold Edition is increasing! The game already sounds fantastic, but it fell under Capcom's nickel and dime strategy. The hard mode actually has me more intrigued than the added content, but it's great there's finally real DLC content coming. Still, it'll be great to have a complete edition.

it'll probably be a "Gold Edition" :P
hopefully they'll release the new content on DLC so that for those people who don't want to buy another disc(i'll be buying this just so i can play this on 1 disc!!!)

All these were announced exactly one day after I traded the game in because I thought they would never release a Hard mode or any expansion packs. Looks like I'll have to buy this again after I work through my backlog.
While it still doesn't fix the wack-ass story or the awful Affinity system, it's good they're addressing fan feedback.

Prior to this, waiting for a "complete edition" would have been a waste of time. None of the extra content has been necessary in any fashion. That being said, looks like your gamer sense may have been right. This sounds promising.

I was going to hang on to this game anyway for a future play through (cause it's awesome!) but nice to know there's a decent expansion on the way!
