Dragon Quest fans, meet game creator Yuji Hori photo

Meet the guy that kicked it all off. Dragon Quest creator Yuji Hori is going to be in Palo Alto, California this weekend to help promote the launch of Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation in North America on the DS. He'll be at a GameStop there to sign autographs for fans. Attendees will receive Dragon Quest prizes, but it sounds like only the first 50 people in line will get an autograph opportunity.

This all goes down Saturday, February 12th from 1-3 p.m. at the GameStop Flagship store at 370 University Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94301 (Between Waverley and Florence streets). This is kind of a huge deal for the franchise and series fans, so I'd get there early if you're wanting Hori's autograph. Take some pictures and send them to our tip line (tips@destructoid.com) if you go!

I met Akira Toriyama, but not Yuji Hori......still, an autographed Dragon Ball vol #15 is still worth it.

Shiiiiiit, I'm nowhere near California! Ah well, it's good to see they're doing something about the release this time and not just sending it out to die like IV and V.

@Nic128

Legalities and whatnot. However if you want you can always have him shipped to a friend in the US and they can send him your way after but make sure you trust them otherwise they might keep him for themselves. There are ways to cheat the system!

:D

I seriously contemplated driving up this weekend, but it's logistically not practical. Oh well. I still won second prize in the trivia contest. :)
