I will say one thing for Sacred 2 -- it's gotten me really interested in dungeon crawling, grinding action RPGs. Beforehand, you couldn't even trick me into being interested in Dragon Age: Origins. Now I'm all about it, and watching this brand new trailer, you can consider me sold as bloody heck. The inappropriate use of Marilyn Manson in the video would have been enough on its own, really.
Hit the jump to watch the epic new trailer and let us know what you think. Speaking as someone who's never totally been enraptured by BioWare's library of work, it says a lot that I'm truly hopeful for this one. You can't go wrong with a little hack n' slash and plenty of loot.

Guys, I don't understand all the hate for a game that you've never played. Are you really that snobbish that you'd pass on game solely on the choice of music for a trailer?!
I for one thought that it fit, because there is no magical "rule" that all fantasy games must be advertised with instrumental music. Personally, I welcome some Manson over all of the cliched Gregorian chants that infest the genre.
This game looks so real, even with the monsters and demons all the characters have normal bodies and no extravagant armor's. This game is going to be must-buy, and i see that BioWare is trying as hard as it can to become my favorite western developer.
Cliched Gregorian chants are what keeps these poor things going. :P
Although Manson isn't what I'd normally match with high fantasy, it goes with the killing part.
Quite a nice vid too. *adds to already stupidly large list of games to watch*
Why do people think they look clever by pointing out the lack of color in some games. There's a lot of grey in the world, too. Not everything you find is fucking bright and bold in color.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Nope. Fable and Oblivion have enough colour for anybody, if Dragon Age wants to be muddy and dark I'm more than happy to see it.
Still puzzled by the insistance on Manson... But I am so in the mood for some epic dark fantasy, I'll let it slide.
Blame it on EA's shitty marketing influence. There won't be any metal music in the actual game. It's all orchestral.
I'll wait to get excited, but I'd rather not condemn it just yet.
Well, it would seem that this is the new shit.
