Download Trials 2 for a cool $1.99 photo

As a way of saying thanks to everyone who helped make Trials HD the Best Overall Arcade Game for the Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards, RedLynx is encouraging fans to try out one of the studio's earlier titles at a discounted price.

Ordinarily $9.99, now through April 14 you can get Trials 2 Second Edition for the much more affordable rate of $1.99. Take note: this offer only applies to the digital version for sale direct from RedLynx, not what's available on Steam.

Personally, the last thing I need right now is even more stress, and my doctor would probably advise me to pass on this deal. If it's looking like something you'd be interested in, though, here's the link you will want to follow.

If you don't own this game yet and you pass this offer up, you're a fool.

Is it really worth it? What's this like? Excitebike? I enjoyed that and still do to this day.

Yes it's worth it. Trials 2 is just as fun and challenging as Trials HD, and $1.99 is incredible value for money.

I'd almost recommend buying from Steam though, because it has Steam Achievements, which I'm a fan of.

@laggerific
"What's this like?"

Watch some youtube videos if you want to get an idea of how it plays.

wait wait wait....just hold on one moment. So to say thank you for being top of everything on Xbox LIVE they are giving trials 2 for $1.99 not on LIVE... anyone else see a flaw in this

I gotta disagree with a lot of the other guys, totally not worth it. I bought it during the Steam Christmas sale thinking it would be as good as Trials HD only to find out it's a shitty version of Trials HD. I bought a ton of crap during that steam sale and Trials 2 is the only one I regretted.

got this a long time ago, and i played it for about 5 mins before i realised the controls were a pile of shit compared to THD. rendered the game practically unplayable for me.

Controls are digital I believe (throttle control therefore less flexible), and the bike physics engine is 2D compared to THD's 3D... not that the game plays in more than 1 field, but RedLynx themselves said it was an improvement over Trials 2 for that one of several reasons.
Even at 1.99, I'd rather trial a demo first :s
