Download a sneak peek at the Sonic / Mega Man crossover

Also, a bunch of Sonic and Mega Man comics are only 99 cents!

It's almost here! Before the non-videogame videogame crossover event of the century begins in a few short days (weeks if you aren't an Archie subscriber), you can bring yourself up to speed with a sneak preview over on online store comiXology.

Through the end of tomorrow, April 4, you can download a free sneak peek at Mega Man #24, the first issue in Archie's massive 12-issue "World's Collide" event that joins the Blue Bomber and the Blue Blur for the first time ever. The preview provides some background info on the story leading up to the main event, sample covers for the first four issues of the arc, and four uncolored pages from Sonic and Mega's first showdown -- only the first two pages are in the gallery below.

But what if you still haven't hopped on board with any of the Archie comics despite all my golden praise? For you fence-sitters, comiXology is also having a massive half-off sale -- again, only through tomorrow -- on a whole swath of back titles. There are 22 issues of Sonic the Hedgehog, five issues of Sonic Universe, and 12 issues of Mega Man each available for 99 cents. In addition, the first two Mega Man trade collections that contain four issues apiece are marked down to $2.99, and a Best of Sonic the Hedgehog compendium is only $7.99 down from $15.99. YOU HAVE NO MORE EXCUSES!
