For the duration of this weekend, Treyarch will be offering double the normal amount of experience points for multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The proverbial switch has been turned on; you can earn extra XP across all versions of the game until 8:00 AM PST on Monday. You should not, however, take that as a reason to stay up all weekend playing Black Ops. Let me be the voice of reason here and suggest that such a thing is not a wise idea.
As per Destructoid tradition, I've included a fun picture so non-Call of Duty players can feel good about themselves too.

CoD is no different than Civ, Wow, or any other competitive online game that copious amounts of people choose to sink days upon days upon weeks into. yes it's just a shooter. no it's not the best. just shut up and play games.
