Remember when a studio could center an entire game around a living glove, and that wasn't questioned as irrational behavior? Yes, the days of Glover were simpler times. The game was set to receive a sequel, though that was eventually canceled. Now, an early version has become playable. No joke!
A Glover 2 prototype cartridge was acquired by NES World, and rather than have it sit on a shelf somewhere, unplayed and unloved, it's been uploaded to the Internet for anyone curious enough to find it.
Alternatively, you can save yourself the effort by watching this video. Unsurprisingly, the sequel looks rather dated and not particularly enjoyable -- even as someone who liked Glover a fair amount -- but what else would you expect? The novelty of it, however, is undeniable.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

My ex got me n64 Glover as a gift. When I tore the wrapping paper off and saw what it was I was sad. I never even tried the game. The concept alone from reading the back of the box seemed LAME
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
A new N64 game in 2011, whats not to love?
Also, hub chicken's voice is what's great in all cartoon-voiced characters.
I miss those days so much.
