Double hobo bashing! Get Condemned free with Condemned 2 at Circuit City

Double hobo bashing! Get Condemned free with Condemned 2 at Circuit City photo
     Xbox 360

There's no doubt that the upcoming Condemned 2: Bloodshot looks hot. I think that its predecessor, Condemned, was a bit underappreicated. It was short, and it had its flaws, but in the end it was the only game with that much hobo-bashY goodness.

In a few days, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Condemned 2 launch in the US, and Circuit City has a nice deal for those who missed the first game. According to their weekly flyer, with the purchase of either version, you will also recieve (while supplies last) a copy of the Xbox 360 predecessor. Sure, Condemned has since dropped in price, but a free game is a free game. And if you don't need it, you can get down on some of that hot trade-in action and get you a nice, used copy of Backyard Sports for the Gameboy Advance. You wuss.

Are you down for Condemned 2? Do you think they've ironed out the control suckage?

I love how more or less, even though Condemned is highlighted, Brawl still is able to capture most of your attention.

Pretty sweet deal though. My friends enjoyed Condemned, but I never got my hands on it. I'd totally check this out if I wasn't in Canada.

Such a good offer, but I already own Condemned.

I love how it's on PS3 as well, so you can get a free 360 game with it =D

Condemned 2 is getting some nice praise, it's good to see that the developers seem to have righted the iffy parts of the first one. I may end up picking it up. Well, okay, I'll rent it. I'm totally buying Dark Sector.

Damn, that's a good deal, but it's a shame I won't have any money for it.

To bad I refuse to go to Circuit City after what they did to me and some friends. I dont know if anyone else has this problem.. But the Circuit City in my area always screws people over.

i'll give you 3 examples

1. They told my friend he would get windows vista free if he bought a computer, they never gave it to him

2. When we bought Call of Duty 4, the deal was that we'd get Call of Duty 3. They refused to give it to us

3. The reason we dont go there anymore was because when GRAW 2 came out, the add said guaranteed at 2pm or you get a 20 dollar gift card. We went at 2 and they didnt have any copies. We showed them the add paper and they refused to give us the 20 dollar gift card.

I could really go into detail about what happened. But the manager there thought we were uneducated teenagers and refused to change his opinion when we made valid points. He told us the game wasn't out, so the deal was invalid. We went to bestbuy and bought it and brought it back to them and they still refused to give us the $20 gift card. Alot more happened but i dont feel like typeing it all. but anyways

Anyone else have a problem with Circuit City screwing them like the one here screws us?

Go to Bestbuy instead. You get a $10 gift certificate. Unlike CC which never seems to have anything they promise.

Yeah, when COD3 was supposed to come with COD4 my CC had a big problem fulfilling that offer. I suspect this will go much worse. Condemned is a great game though! Too bad I've already beaten it into submission. WTF is up with only 970 achievement points in that game anyway?

I agree. I went to the CC website and tried to pre-order and get Condemned 1, but it stated that it was out of stock and when I went to check-out, Condemned 1 was magically out of my cart. I am going with the Best Buy deal because the CC "deal" seems to be skirting on fraud. People will believe that they are going to get a rain-check due to CC not having any copies, but if you read the fine print, there are no rain-checks and no copies in stock. False advertising, plain and simple. I would like to see Best Buy run out of $10 gift cards.
