Double Fine would like to rock more Brutal Legend DLC photo

Can't get enough Brutal Legend? That's good, because Double Fine may not be done with it just yet.

In a recent post-game-release chat with GamePro, Double Fine's Tim Schafer reveals that the developer is keen on not only tweaking the game with an update, but adding even more content.

"We definitely want to do more DLC for both single-player and multiplayer," he says.

The first bit of downloadable content was for the game's multiplayer, called "Tears of the Hextadon," and was made available for the downloadin' last month. As for what the tweaks would be, Shafer says those revolve around potentially overpowered units in the game's multiplayer.

You can read more of GamePro's chat with Schafer online, if you're so inclined.

Does it make the game not suck?

I'd really like some DLC for the single player. The game was a lot of fun, but the end felt really rushed.

Well... seeing as my PS3 has listed extra trophies for a long time now for a single/multi-player pack called "Hammer of Infinite Fate"... this is pretty much guaranteed. Love the game. Bring on the DLC.

Can we have a bit of DLC that converts it into a 3rd person action game?

Saint Noir has it down. We already know that a massive-looking DLC is heading our way. If Burnout Paradise DLC leaks is anything to go by, it should hit the networks between now & maybe February at the latest.

His hints about an overpowered unit are anything but subtle.

Also the first piece of DLC was just an unlock code.

You want Brutal Legend to change to an action game? Here's all you have to do.

1. If you take away Brutal Legend's awesome RTS aspects, you get Nintey Ninte Nights.

2. Play Nintey Nine Nights.

3. Immeditately get bored out of your mind and go back to Brutal Legend.

Hopefully it'll also include a patch to fix the multiplayer hookup...and the loss of wins for PS3. Makes it very hard to get the last couple of trophies...

Honestly don't understand the bitching some people have been doing about BL, I found it to be the funniest game I've played in years. I did all the subquests during the game just to make it last as long as possible.

Free DLC never (?) gets any trophies/achievements as far as I know.
