GamingTalkHQ has word from a press release sent out by Empire Interactive, that Double Dragon will be gracing the Xbox LIVE Arcade next Wednesday. The title will feature the original arcade game as well as an enhanced graphics version and will retail for 400 points.
Double Dragon is one of those series that was the bee's knees during the 90s, but like Pogs, The Cure, and Princess Diana, it hasn't been very successful in the current century. Let's hope this release is a revitalization of one of the finest depictions of brutal gang violence in the history of the medium.

Although Im glad were getting this instead of Battletoads. 50$ or 5$ theres nothing awsome about playing a game where you can't beat the hoverbike sequence on the second level. a 5 year old would be better off tryng to beat Ninja Gaiden black than i would playing battletoads

Still, I'll hold off for the VC version as my previous childhood dictates my purchases today.
This was my favorite arcade game when I was younger.
The elbow was the unbeatable move, abused the hell out of it to save the quarters for the maching gun dude at the end.
This just made my week. Been waiting since it was announced back in late Feb.
