Don't you wanna know why Alone in the Dark keeps starting fires? Also, pictures photo

Vague Electric Six references for the win! We have a whole heap of new Alone in the Dark screenshots for you to sink your teeth into like the murderous dogs that you are.

The ridiculous amount of screenshots do a lot to show off the much lauded fire physics that Alone in the Dark sports. In one series of screens you can see the disintegration of a table as the flames consume it. I imagine there'll be some suspension of disbelief as tables crumble before your very eyes, but it's neat nonetheless.

Previews so far have been mixed about Eden's updated adventures of Edward Carnby, but I am still hoping this will be a fine addition to the horror gaming genre. We will of course have a full review as soon as possible.

I'm much more excited for this game than I should be, given that its survival horror and thats not typically my thing.

It's their desire if they want to keep starting fires.

I'm with a couple of you guys, I mean, horror isn't my thing either, usually. I bought Alone in the Dark for Dreamcast, which I never finished.. This game does look sooooo much better than the DC game tho! :)

I'm not into horror games, but the tactical action concept looks like a lot of fun in this game.

The videos I've seen of this game are awesome, but those first impressions got me worried.

Fire is pretty, but they'll need a lot more than that for an awesome game.

Does it keep starting fires because it doesn't want to be in the dark? Alone?

Well since the games is totally set in darkness, fire would be a good weapon since it will kill your enemies while lighting your path :-)
