Yesterday we were treated to what was allegedly a new look for Jade in Beyond Good & Evil 2, which was announced in 2008. Ubisoft told IGN that the piece was concept art from the first game, now over a decade old.
Beyond Good & Evil's Michel Ancel fielded sequel questions during a Rayman Legends livestream, giving the usual vague notions like last time people got needlessly excited. "Working on Rayman Legends was a nice, early holiday. So we are going to make serious games now. Beyond Good & Evil [is] a good candidate for making a real, serious game now."
Cool. Fine. Whatever. I'm waiting until there is anything concrete to care. There are plenty of wondrous things that exist in the world right now. We should all entertain ourselves with those in the interim.
