No amount of the people working on the game saying they're working on the game will ever change the minds of those that were already convinced it's cancelled though.
I remember them talking about reason they struggled with the game is the AI for the Trico creature they had redo it all themselves which they never worked on before. I have patience to wait for it but again i feel it has FFversus13 syndrome announced too soon and people online shout its dead if get no information every 6 months

These blogs about this game come out too often. You should stop giving this attention until a new trailer or release date is set.
Guys, relax! It's the ICO team, they really want to make a masterpiece like ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, so why we need to rush them? Let them take their time and make a great game, diferent of some companies that delivers unfinished products or even finished with blocked content for day one DLC!

I refuse to believe that The Last Guardian exists in any form at all. I won't get my hopes up until I see someone not associated with the game playing it.
The founders of the studio are gone.

They're still "hard at work" on the game/reworking it an we're now maybe a year away from PS4's launch. If there was a time to launch the game, it was this holiday season and that's not happening.

At this point, with the top guys having left the studio, does it even matter? Clearly something is fundamentally wrong with this game or its progress would have been shown over the last couple of years. Just because it isn't "cancelled" doesn't mean it's not dead in the water, waiting to be scooped up and disposed of.
Fuck that, I'll believe it when it's in my PS3. Think about it, we got that one trailer years ago. Then consider that the "previews" included in the Team Ico HD collection barely showed anything we hadn't already seen. I hope the game is still coming, I really do, but with Ueda leaving and having an unknown amount of input and the lack of overall info means I won't be holding my breath. And the last person I would trust on this is some corporate stooge at Sony.
For those who forgot (or didn't know), Ico was originally a PS1 game, but the development took so long that it was eventually moved over to the PS2. I wouldn't be surprised if the exact same thing happened with The Last Guardian. It may very well end up getting pushed to PS4.

In the time the Last Guardian has been in development I have bought a house, done it up, got a dog, taken on a challenging job, decided to emigrate to NZ, sold my house and I go to NZ in 3 weeks to reunite with the mrs who started working there 4 months ago.
