Domo: The Journey, a new iOS-based platformer starring that weird bear block thing that everyone loves, is now available.

Basically, you play as Domo as you leap through different zones to rescue your friend Tashanna from the evil Hungry Bear. Domo uses his camera and guitar to stun and eliminate foes -- sounds good so far, right?

Well, I bought it when it hit the App Store last night because I'm a pretty big fan of everything Domo related. Sadly, I found nothing more than a very below average platformer with tons of micro-transactions. So unless you're really hurting for Domo on your phone, stay away.

Domo, no!

Poncho is a cute robot in a lovely open-world platformer

It always hurts my heart a little bit to see what looks like a great game failing to gain traction on Kickstarter. Certainly, the crowdfunding community is more cautious these days than it used to be, and with good reason in...more
