Dogmeat mod for Fallout 3 protects the pooch
Ever had trouble keeping your faithful pup Dogmeat alive in Fallout 3? Well, an intrepid mod designer may have the solution for you. Introducing dog armor, which is like horse armor, except free and functional. In addition to protecting Dogmeat from damage, it can be outfitted with packs to give him a tradeable inventory and the mod also allows you to give him a new home to be sent to when you're tired of him or it gets too dangerous. There's even a dog whistle available to call him to your location. The mod allows you get the canine suited up either by purchasing the armor from a couple of retailers or by crafting it yourself (in conjunction with the CRAFT mod). Future updates to the mod may even include a radio collar to allow you to track the mutt on your Pip-Boy. If you're interested in trying out the mod, you can pick it up here. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)As much as I love dogmeat, I have never once thought he needed an upgrade. Unless there's a mod to make him NOT attack stuff when it's below a certain %, that way he doesn't steal your Grim Reaper's Sprint killshot. Man I wish this was on the consoles, I always kept Dogmeat at the apartment cause I didn't want him to die :( someone needs to tell Bethesda to put this in the new dlc that's coming...it may be the last chance we get for us modless console gamers If only there was Butch armor. I mean, seriously. Dogmeat and me took on an Overlord, Butch died against a plain mutant. I miss the guy and all his sexual tension, but when it takes effort to make the guy use anything that isn't a pistol and he dies five minutes later, the boy needs a buff. I know it's not 'technically' Dogmeat, but there is a perk now that means when he dies, you'll find one of the litter of his puppies outside vault 101 afterwards. So now you can take him out with you without fear of losing him as he decides to take on a deathclaw 1 vs 1. Out of the dozens of good Fallout 3 mods, this one gets featured? It's a good mod and all, but there are many mods that do a whole lot more for the gameplay. 2:30 AM on 05.21.2013 To the depths and back in Fallout: Brotherhood of SteelJordan and I are pushing further in our play of the tragically existent Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. 3:30 PM on 05.16.2013 Watch the worst Fallout game ever madeJordan and I have started a new game in our Couch Campaign, and it's one that I have been excited to play since we first began talking about the project. As a huge fan of the Fallout franchise and a lover of top-down, exploration shoot-em-up games, the pairing of the two could have been glorious. And Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is, provided you think train wrecks can be glorious.

12:30 PM on 03.14.2013 Get Skyrim shirts from the official Bethesda storeBethesda now has an official shop where you can buy a good-sized and varied selection of merchandise related to Skyrim, Dishonored, Fallout, Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein. Everything from t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, figurines, lithographs, and messenger bags. Personally, I would love to wear a Winking Skeever shirt with a pair of Vault 101 sneakers. That's the pinnacle of fashion my friends.
