Do YOU believe in the teapot?
I received a very cryptic email from Raskulls developer Halfbrick Studios recently. It consisted of nothing but the above image and a message asking me if I believe in the teapot. The image features a teapot-shaped version of King, one of the Raskulls characters. Whether this is the teapot in question, or just a metaphorical representation of a teapot we can all believe in, nobody yet knows. Finding myself unable to answer this question, I put it to you. Do YOU believe in the teapot? What would it take to make you believe, or what is it in your heart that already tells you it is true? I don't know if I believe in the teapot, but I believe that I want to believe. In the teapot. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)A teapot in video games/movies is usually a pun to early 3D. It was one of the first objects to be modeled in 3D and one of the primitives you can create in 3Ds Max with a simple click. Probably means a 3D Raskulls game? That Tea Pot makes me think that is what Babar's skull would look like if all the flesh was stripped away.
Also, TEA AND JIM STERLINGZ! I got dollars to donuts they're talking about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell's_teapot
Or would that be to risque for a vidya game company to rile peeps up? I'm thinking a Henry Hatsworth / Raskulls crossover. That's what I want the teapot to mean. Either way, I BELIEVE IN THE TEAPOT! As a tea-drinking limey and skull fetishist there's a new desktop wallpaper for me. That's an excellent wee graphic. Truth be known, Halfbrick Studios is a 100% atheist developer. They are no doubt poking fun at the 'do you believe in god' question, as many other's have via Russell's teapot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell%27s_teapot . Do you believe in the teapot? If you don't, how could u believe in god? Who wouldn't believe in the teapot? To believe is to live, and I want to live. Teapot, show me the way. 10:30 PM on 05.22.2013 Raise your badger children in Might and Delight's ShelterLife as a mother badger doesn't strike me as something that would be particularly easy, but conflict sure does make for an interesting story.
