If you've become addicted to the high-octane ridiculousness of Trials HD on XBLA, I have good news for you. Redlynx is currently working on DLC for the dirtbike stunt riding game. Speaking with Console-Arcade, RedLynx's creative director confirmed that the developer is producing more levels for me to perform hilarious and embarrassing attempts at stunts which land me on my back.
I do really hope that they make a range of difficulty instead of just pumping out some more difficult tracks for the hardcore. While that audience is more likely to purchase it, what with the impressive amount of content in the main game already released, I'm struggling to get through the second half of it and would really like some new levels where I felt like God on two wheels.
No word yet on pricing or availability, but we'll keep you posted.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
it's not that they're too hard, but being slowed down in a game partly about speed simply isn't fun. (Sonic and the Black Knight is a great example of this.)
haven't played much of Trials HD, but I have played a good deal of Trials 2 on my PC and it's fun as hell until the later levels where everything, as people already have put it, are fucking slow.
I love the more 'technical' levels in the game. Once you've got the skills (Which I don't..), you can zip through 'em pretty fast... but yeah, they're not exactly 'Speed Demon' levels.
The level of accomplishment I felt when I finally beat all the extreme tracks was right up there, 'cause it took me ages.
I'm hoping for some more of both, and also some more stunt games. There's a lot of scope for different games they could do - but I still wish there was a party mode like has been on Flatout for years.
Funny how people complain about this game being 'slow' towards the end. I guess them calling the game "Trials" wasn't enough of a hint. Keep with it though, eventually it clicks, and you'll blaze through the harder levels.
