DLC for Trials HD is in the works photo

If you've become addicted to the high-octane ridiculousness of Trials HD on XBLA, I have good news for you. Redlynx is currently working on DLC for the dirtbike stunt riding game. Speaking with Console-Arcade, RedLynx's creative director confirmed that the developer is producing more levels for me to perform hilarious and embarrassing attempts at stunts which land me on my back.

I do really hope that they make a range of difficulty instead of just pumping out some more difficult tracks for the hardcore. While that audience is more likely to purchase it, what with the impressive amount of content in the main game already released, I'm struggling to get through the second half of it and would really like some new levels where I felt like God on two wheels.

No word yet on pricing or availability, but we'll keep you posted.

One of my favorite level's is the fast one that was in the demo - lots of back flips, big jumps and speed. I find that more fun than the ridiculous difficulty and repetition of the later levels. I hope the DLC gives some more of that type of gameplay.

boo hoo games are hard. I wish they would make Ikaruga easier, I keep getting shot.

I also prefer the levels that are more about building up speed and keeping it rather than the horrifically slow final ten levels or so.

@ Turbofail

it's not that they're too hard, but being slowed down in a game partly about speed simply isn't fun. (Sonic and the Black Knight is a great example of this.)

haven't played much of Trials HD, but I have played a good deal of Trials 2 on my PC and it's fun as hell until the later levels where everything, as people already have put it, are fucking slow.

That's good to hear. I just spent the last four hours or so switching between Trials and Defense Grid. The selection of Arcade games are fantastic this year.

I love the more 'technical' levels in the game. Once you've got the skills (Which I don't..), you can zip through 'em pretty fast... but yeah, they're not exactly 'Speed Demon' levels.

I enjoy both the fast and simple levels and the ones that require a lot more concentration and skill, even if they are slow

The level of accomplishment I felt when I finally beat all the extreme tracks was right up there, 'cause it took me ages.

I'm hoping for some more of both, and also some more stunt games. There's a lot of scope for different games they could do - but I still wish there was a party mode like has been on Flatout for years.

Can't get enough of this game. It'd be nice is the new DLC was spread across all skill-levels. I need me some new Expert maps.

Funny how people complain about this game being 'slow' towards the end. I guess them calling the game "Trials" wasn't enough of a hint. Keep with it though, eventually it clicks, and you'll blaze through the harder levels.

This is great news! Finally cracked the last level in the extreme bracket today. Demon on Wheels, fo shizz!! DLC what would be good for this game is allowing users to upload their created levels. There's some really imaginative user created stuff i've seen on youtube. Failing that though a few tracks spanning medium to extreme difficulties would be good.
