DJ Hero confirmed by Guitar Hero developer photo

Guitar Hero: World Tour project director Brian Bright told Joystiq that Activision Blizzard is indeed involved in the development of DJ Hero. This marks the second confirmation of the title, but the first public admittance of its existence. Bright was short on the details, but had time to divulge that (shocker) Neversoft has begun work on another title not called DJ Hero since the release of GH: WT.

From the interview:

Activision's doing a DJ Hero game, and I can't comment on what we're doing. But...we're working on the future and next gen. If I wasn't excited about it, I wouldn't be there.

There has yet to be any official confirmation from the game’s alleged developer FreeStyleGames (B-boy), but if there ever were a developer to do DJ Hero, it would probably be them. Paul Oakenfold, a supporter of the title, could not be reached for comment by press time. Instead, I talked to my cat. She was also unable to comment.

I wish the blizzard name didn't have to be associated with ruh-ruh-ruh-remix games :\

Hah, I guess this is a weird time to do a first comment but I'm actually pretty interested to see how this turns out, I'm a fan of this type of music.

rewind selecta!

Seriously, a record deck peripheral would be pretty ridiculous. I guess since Paul Oakenfold has his name attached it's gonna be more about beatmatching and perhaps keeping some virtual crowd happy rather than scratching?
If so it might but fun but....i dunno....big plastic fake decks? Too many questions, too little info.
