Now this is just awesome. A poster over on
Nerf Haven took a Nerf Gun and a toy chainsaw and fused them together to create the famous chainsaw assault rifle from
Gears of War. Forsaken_angel24, the creator of the mod, has a step-by-step guide on his forum post on Nerf Haven. Some of the process that went into this project is chronicled in the above video as well as some testing of the chainsaw on what I suspect is angel24's little brother.
The mod is very impressive. He goes beyond just the cosmetic looks by adding LED lights and leaving the gun and chainsaw sounds effects still intact. Not too sure if the gun can actually still shoot, but the chainsaw "blades" still do spin. Now all Forsaken_angel24 has to do is get beefed up and take a ton of steroids so he can complete the Gears of War look in it's entirety.

Might I suggest a few more mods to make it more on par with an actual Lancer?

Based on some of the other mods I've seen from him, not only does it shoot an accurate 100', it probably hurts, too! Haha
I've been sorely tempted to build a Doomsayer like his, but now that I've seen this, I might have to try my hand at it. He took an otherwise worthless Nerf gun (Longshot is a real POS) and added a buttload of awesome.
