Tim Rogers explains it all

I was working on getting the review for Divekick! posted tonight, but this video by Action Button Entertainment's Tim Rogers just stole my thunder. The first 45 seconds do everything I was trying to do in the opening paragraphs of the review except in a much more expressive and entertaining way. It's like I've been hit by a multi-kill series of headshot K.O.s. I got fraud stamped.

So the full review will have to wait a little longer, but here is a small sample to tide you over. "Divekick! is about what happens in a fighting game when you and/or your opponent are hurtling through the air, with no option to turn back or second guess, in total love and commitment to the idea of kicking another person in the face. After you get past the charming character designs and other surface level trappings, Divekick! boils down to just two emotional experiences-- flying kick feelings, and thinking about flying kicks feelings. You'd think it would get old, but it doesn't."

Divekick! is out now on Steam, PS3, and PS Vita.
