CJ GameLab has pushed out a new update for its free-to-play FPS, District 187: Sin Streets. The "Femme Fatale," as the company is calling it, adds the game's first female characters -- two, to be precise.
Emilia and Bridget come with some special abilities, granting players "a 30 percent experience boost and 15 percent gold boost, and also sport a 30 percent quicker reload time." Also included in the update is a new transit hub-themed map called Metro.
CJ GameLab has also put out several new weapons such as the PSD XR-Gold-Fully Modedsniper rifle, the Lizard M3TC shotgun and the DE Crane-Gold pistol. Female characters get access to an exclusive grenade called the 'Heart Grenade' -- it's literally a grenade in the shape of a heart.
I remember playing this game for about a week after it launched on Steam; my enjoyment of it was extremely short-lived (not that I had high expectations or anything to begin with). Anyone out there still playing this thing?
