Square Enix artist and director Tetsuya Nomura has teased a sequel to the relatively decent PSP fan-service brawler, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. While he stopped short of confirming any solid plans for the game, he certainly didn't deny anything either.
"I'll try my best for a Dissidia: Final Fantasy sequel," hints Nomura, via Twitter.
Sounds like it's something he definitely wants to do, so it's just a case of whether or not Square Enix wants it too. The first game had a lot of promise, although a few faults held it back. If the sequel could fix some of those issues, it'd be a great portable title indeed.

I'm looking forward to your review on this so I can get a nice comparison between the two.
I could really give a damn about a another console KH game at this point. Let the series be done as of BBS, there's no sense in dragging it out any further. Disney clearly doesn't have their hearts in it anymore, only SE does. Otherwise we'd have KH cartoons or maybe even a feature-length movie by now.
I do like that Nomura has been giving handhelds a good deal of attention, too. I hope Dissidia 2 is on the backburner, because I'm more interested in that body-snatching RPG he was working on for PSP.
Also: Make this happen.
