Dissidia: Final Fantasy gets a PSP bundle, looks pretty rad photo

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is one of a handful of PSP games that are looking really sweet this year, and it's definitely on my hit list. To celebrate this rare occurence of a highly anticipated PSP release, Sony has announced a fresh new PSP bundle which actually looks like a really good deal.

For $199.99, you'll be getting a "Mystic Silver" PSP 3000, a copy of Dissidia, Advent Children on UMD and a 2GB memory stick. Not too shabby! The bundle will be available from Gamestop on August 25 and is said to be a limited time offer. Still, you've got plenty of time to save up. 

As someone who needs to replace is beat up and worn out old PSP 1000, this is a rather tempting package. It will at least hold me over until the PSP GO that we totally broke the news on over a month before everybody else picked it up and pretended was fresh news.

It's a step in the right direction, but they couldn't shell out a bit more to get the logo emblazoned on it like its Japanese counterpart?

So I guess this finally gives us a release date? Rad. I've been playing the japanese version since launch, so I'm ready to start understanding what I'm doing in the menus.

Totally agree, throw a silkscreen on it and I'm sold. Otherwise its just a regular PSP3000. I'll stick with my Kratos psp!

Aw, man. I'm trying so hard to resist getting a Final Fantasy Tactics device (known in some circles as a "PSP"). This makes it even harder.

Kinda lame if it's just a silver PSP, I got the God of War bundle with the red PSP which has Kratos emblazoned on the back. This should have done something similar.

It must suck knowing how every time you buy a psp a better psp comes out, and after buying that, an even better psp comes out. Sucks don't it?

Awesome packaging, am totally selling of my NOT hacked PSP just for the box! I Would love it if they put something special on the silver PSP though.

The header picture makes me a bit sad ya know.

Dissidia is a game which has a wealth of Final Fantasy characters in it, so do they really need to make the publicity shots more Cloud vs Sephiroth? It's old and tired, and doesn't make want the game or know more about it, I'm sick of both of them, especially seeing as there's probably going to be yet another spin off of 7 announced soon. How about showing it off with characters we don't see enough of, like Zidane and Kuja? or ones from pre-7.
