Dissidia EX gameplay features some epic ass kicking

     Fighting Games

Dissidia is shaping up to be a joyful jizzfest for Final Fantasy fanboys (and girls!), and this video showing off the EX Mode in the game is sure to only heighten the excitement. How lame is it to admit that when I saw the first few seconds of this video, I was so happy to see Squall again that I kind of ... squeaked? I know, really, infinitely lame.

I'm not even a fan of fighting games generally, but I have to admit those aerial attacks looks pretty fun to execute. Stay tuned to the end for a glimpse of some more critical beatings. This game is going to rock!

This game looks convoluted. I wasn't a fan or Erghiz, and the FF characters don't really mean the same to me as they do to other folk.

Is it just me, or does it seem that the levels won't lend themselves to any kind of quick play or intuitive action? Maybe I just need to try it...?

I do want. The combat looks sick. I hope they put one or two non-final fantasy characters in there though even if just bonus characters. Heh heh, I'd love to pwn everyone from Final Fantasy with Musashi.

That reminds me, anyone know if Locke from 6 is in it?

I'm glad they kept the respective fonts on the special attacks...

Meh. As big of a FF fan that I am, I still can't get myself excited for this.

Colette could you possibly record that squeak so we could all enjoy it?

The video looks awesome, I greatly wish to play this game. I wish I knew what they were telling me at the bottom though dammit!

As fun as I'm sure the actual game will be... that looks like it's difficult as hell to control.

This looks pretty damn cool. I'm a bit worried about control and camera though.
By the way, who's Zidane's voice actor? Sounds like the person who does Naruto.
