Disney wants Wii and PS2 gamers to TH!NK Fast photo

Being as it's so early in the morning (and I've barely made it through my first cup of coffee), I don't appreciate Disney Interactive Studios expecting me to think fast. Wait, make that TH!NK Fast, a game show-style trivia game just announced this morning for the Wii and the PlayStation 2.

Skewed towards the kiddies (or Disney die-hards), TH!NK Fast will feature over 5,000 questions on topics like Disney-related trivia and general knowledge ("At what time is it too early to expect someone to think fast?"). Players can choose from a number of Disney character avatars, including Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Minnie Mouse.

The game supports four players, and the PS2 version of the game will ship with four buzzer controllers; the Wii version of the game will utilize the Wii Remote and nunchuck as buzzers. Oh, and there's also mini-games thrown in for good measure, because what's a good casual title without them?

Add TH!NK Fast to your wish list now, beacuse it'll be available this holiday season.

DISNEY INTERACTIVE STUDIOS ANNOUNCES NEW GAME SHOW STYLE TRIVIA GAME - DISNEY TH!NK FAST

Disney-themed title for Wii™home video game console and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system will test players’ mental and physical reflexes while providing hours of family fun

Disney Interactive Studios challenges players to think fast in a new game show-style quiz game that will test players’ Disney and general knowledge. Scheduled for release later this year on both Wii™ and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Disney TH!NK Fast promises to be a family favorite party game this holiday season.

Hosted by the always loveable and charismatic Genie from Disney’s “Aladdin,” Disney TH!NK Fast is an exciting, fun-filled game for players of all ages and Disney fans. Playing as their favorite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck, contestants square off in more than 15 rounds to see who has the quickest mind and the fastest finger on the buzzer.

Rounds range from multiple-choice questions to thrilling, fast paced mini-games in which players compete in themed locations based on such Disney classics as “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Lilo & Stitch” and “101 Dalmatians.” Up to four players can compete, tackling more than 5,000 challenging questions on topics ranging from Disney trivia to general knowledge.  A unique visual answer system puts players right in the game and makes it fun for all ages.

The PlayStation 2 system version will be bundled with a set of four buzzers, while the Wii version will utilize the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™ as buzzers. Developed by Magenta Software, Disney TH!NK Fast is scheduled to ship this holiday season and has an anticipated Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating of E for Everyone.

By buzzers, I would assume the PS2 version will be shipping with the Buzz buzzers or at least be compatible with them, given that its using the same colours.

Sadly, I really want this. *hanging head in shame*

Oh, and the above answer is obviously Shan Yu -- the character in the bottom left. :)
