Um....Mr. Sterling, Bethesda is just the publisher for Dishonored, Arkana Studios are the developers are they not¿ So it should be Arkana Studio's Dishonored and not just Bethesda.
Oh yeah, I totally see the AC comparison. In face, this game looks like what I wish Assassin's Creed was. AC has gotten so far up its own ass lately I just can't stand it anymore. This, on the other hand, I like.

It's nice to finally see this game in motion (even if it is all CG). I'm really digging the atmosphere and art style. And if the game actually plays like what was described in the Game Informer article, it will be fucking phenomenal. And it looks like getting the art director from Half-Life 2 has really paid off.
I'm disappointed to see it's kinda steampunky and wish it had a better setting but then being a more stylised City 17 can't make it all bad.
I really enjoyed Dark Messiah which was also made by Arkane Studios, I'm pretty excited for this one.
This isn't a Bethesda game and I'm kinda sick of people saying it is. It's made by Arkane Studios with Harvey Smith on board (the main level designer in the original Deus Ex who is thusly a visionary). In other words: this game should be better than anything Bethesda has ever made.
I *don't* want to see gameplay. This trailer is all I need. Based on the people working on this game and the video I just saw, I already have a pretty good feeling this game is going to be incredible.

Looks spiffy, but none of this will matter to me unless some solid gameplay accompanies it,which we have yet to see. Ill save my excitement till then.

I agree that I'm sick of people saying it's a Bethesda game, or else it wouldn't look this awesome. The same people say New Vegas and Hunted are Bethesda games. :|

Would I have preferred that Bethesda reveal Skyrim DLC insread? Yes. But does this game nonetheless look very cool? Yes.
firstly, i am still excited by this game, but the more i see of it, the more generic it looks. seems like there was a lot of mystery before, and now i can't see anything in the trailer that i haven't seem before. time will tell for me.

It looks pretty cool! The only problem with first-person perspectives in a game like this is the fact that the static movement of your analog stick can't properly mimik your own eye movement. The CG has your gaze shifting too rapidly for a normal controller to follow in the actual game, which is why I'm skeptical as to how representative this CG trailer is of actual gameplay.
Looks like someone took the electro/steampunk of Thief, mixed in Bioshock abilities, and tied it together with Assassin's Creed.

I've never been a fan of cinematic trailers with no game play. That being said this looks like it'll be solid. Story probably won't be very good, but the gameplay will probably be good enough that it won't even matter.

I can't wait to see how this game turns out since it looks crazy awesome. I am digging that steampunk skull mask so much. I wonder if there will be an achievement for slashing throats or how many enemies you can gun down in time-freeze/slow. This is now on my must have list.

not going master race on you (i mostly play PC with a pad) but a mouse can move the viewport pretty much as fast as you want it to, so it could well be representative of the PC version. at least as representative as an intricately planned CGI trailer can be anyway.

Well, that was... an interesting per-rendered concept video that told me nothing about the actual game. My inner "hardcore gamer" wants to rally behind this project given that it has former veterans that worked on Half Life, Deus Ex, and Thief, but I'm really just not sold on this.

Time control has been done well in a ton of games. Off the top of my head, Braid, Max Payne, P.B Winterbottem, R&C: A Crack in Time. I'm sure there are plenty more.

@Plathismo - Well, if the people that actually made Skyrim had anything in the slightest to do with this game then maybe your post would be valid, but since that isn't the case, and it's a totally different team behind this(and Bethesda publish loads of shit), then just stop while you're ahead.
