Hey, doods! Disgaea Infinite has finally received an American release date! The adventure novel game will be hitting the PSP this May. The adventure novel type games are popular in Japan and this is the first time this type of a game by NIS is hitting the States.
In Disgaea Infinite, you play as a Prinny that is ordered by Laharl and Etna to find out who tried to assassinate Laharl. You'll be using time travel and the ability to possess other characters in the game in order to figure out who tried to assassinate Laharl.
Semi-related: Is it wrong to find Etna attractive? She's a demon, right? She has no age in that case, right? RIGHT?!

on the other hand.the game look like a visual novel for me, which is great. you can't never have enough of their awesome jokes. i played Disgaea DS simply for that Prinny commentary.
I get the feeling it would be perfectly socially acceptable to find Etna hot if she had boobs, which is kinda wrong if you ask me. There's plenty of attractive, adult women out there with no boobs.
Always good to see more Disgaea... unfortunately, I get the feeling an 'adventure novel' will completely flop in sales.
They are just cartoons so whatever but those are designed to look like children.

They talk about it in Disgaea 1, and Flonne is embarrassed because she's the oldest at 1500 something I think.

Oh, and I am so going to buy this.
Also, I can draw a picture of a baby and put the baby in a game and explain that "oh, the baby is actually 700 years old". What's the difference? You're still attracted to a baby.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying any of you with Etna crushes are pedophiles, I just find a couple of the specific justifications to be humorous and lacking any real logic.
Is the game going to be mostly voiceover work? Or is it just text? I like the characaters, and would prefer to get to hear the prinnies. I mean,

"Master Eta is gonna kill us dood!"

"A horse weiner?!? Now thats dangerous!!?"
is what its all about for me.
I'm not sure what point I was trying to make, but I think it has something to do with her appearance not being as important as how she is portrayed. She may have small breasts but that doesn't make her a child, she doesn't act like a child, she's not voiced by a child, doesn't talk like a child, she doesn't dress like a child.
So if it doesn't look, smell, or taste like dog shit, it's not dog shit.
