Disgaea and Rhapsody DS get European release dates photo

If you've never played Disgaea before, I'm not sure whether to pity or envy you. It's a fantastic game with a great sense of humor and addictive gameplay. However, the game has robbed me of so much of my life, developer NIS could be responsible for murder. Nevertheless, Nintendo loyalists will soon have their chance to see what all the fuss is about when the game gets a DS release.

Both Disgaea and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure are heading to the DS, and they will be hitting Europe in the coming months. Rhapsody is first with a March 30 release date, and Disgaea comes soon after on April 3.

Rhapsody is one DS game I am definitely looking forward to playing. I never had a chance to play the original PlayStation version, and since I'm take some guilty pleasure in musicals, it's something I've always been interested in.

In the mean time, we have plenty of screenshots of both games in action, so check those out.

Rhapsody on the PS1 was a great little RPG, but they changed so much of the content on the DS version. If you want to get into Rhapsody, then I would suggest you seek out the original version.

@Jim

Rhapsody is "ok". It's one of the easiest, and shortest RPGS ever made. It's funny though, if you don't mind "cute funny".

Anybody else find 'kawaii' (ick ick ick) Etna in the header pic kind of disturbing?

Rhapsody was really, really bad (this is coming from a lover of straightforward JRPGS, too).
