NIS America has kindly let us know that new DLC is available for Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. Featuring seven new characters and two wallpaper themes, the whole package can be bought as a bundle with a free theme, or separately ... with bugger-all!

I think one of the best things about my new PS3 is that it means I can get excited for NIS titles again. Disgaea might be as impenetrable as a Nun's hymen, but I loved that game something rotten. Can't wait to get into it all over again ... just like a Nun's hymen.

now available on the PlayStation®Store. Players can purchase new characters and custom wall paper themes for their PlayStation®3.

It really is a shame Sony took BC out of the PS3s. I'm glad I got an 80gb with BC.
Yeah, but unfortunately that 80GB BC lulls you into a false sense of security. I got the MSG4 80GB with BC and fell in love with Ratchet and Clank. The few PS2 games that I have work fine, so I bought all of the previous R&C games used. NONE of them work, save for Size Matters, on the 80GB BC version. So, I ended up getting a used PS2 from Craigslist anyway.
I still only paid about 1/2 that of a new PS2 and got some extra controllers, but if you don't check the PS3 BC database, you might get a surprise with a "bad" PS2 game.
