Nippon Ichi has confirmed that Disgaea 3 is coming to the PlayStation Vita. We had a hunch it was coming. Here's hoping this next bout of SRPGing will use the Vita's touchscreen and rear touch pads in a cool way. I could see map manipulation and character placement being really cool with these controls.

The publisher also teased some new titles in an interview with Dengeki PlayStation. All of them sound pretty interesting:

  • A Prinny action RPG with full polygon visuals, unknown platform. Details coming soon
  • A new title from the makers of Classic Dungeon, platform unknown
  • A Japanese port of a 3DS game that was popular here
  • A new title from the Disgaea team that has the visual quality of Disgaea 4, unknown platform

Andriasang also tells us that they'd like to make a Vita sequel to the PSP title Criminal Girls. It looks like Nippon Ichi is going to be quite busy.
