Discountoid: Cheerleaders, coaches and Wario, plus more great deals photo

I have spent several hours combing through the internet to find just the right image for Discountoid today. It was very taxing work. Thank you, kind retailers, for putting All-Star Cheer Squad on sale.

Best Buy has a massive ad this week with a lot of games you probably don't care about. Of note, however, is the My Coach series of DS learning software, all of which is discounted by ten smackers. If you were looking for an excuse to bone up on your Japanese or Spanish, it might be time.

I dredged up some good prices over at Amazon as well. You can grab Disgaea 3 for under forty dollars, which sounds like a deal to me. Also (and this is old but I'm deeply passionate about the game), Dokapon Kingdom is twenty bucks, which is so worth it. It's one of the most fun party games I've ever played and a steal at that price.

Most of the other ads are fairly weak, but I would mention that Target is currently offering Wario Land: Shake It! at 40% below MSRP. Not too shabby.

Hit the jump to see all kinds of crazy bargains.

Wow.. some good and bad at the Gamestop in my area (central USA), Soul Calibur 4 is still full price, but, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 is only $19.99 as a PC download.

The Tampa Bay Bucs cheerleaders are always top-notch. I wish the Bears would have cheerleaders. Oh, well...at least we have Kyle Orton's neckbeard.

You might be able to score Gears 2 or Fallout3 for $40 at 7-Eleven. One of the ones near me is trying to clear their game stock.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to run by Best Buy. I've been wanting to pick up the Orange Box and My Weeaboo Coach. I might pick up GTA4 as well. I ain't paying full price to jump through those ridiculous registration hoops.

Decent price on Infinite Undiscovery at BB and CC. I picked up the Last Remnant the other day maybe i'll go get Infinite to go along with it.
By the way, anyone play both or either Infinite Undiscovery or The Last Remnant? Anyone have any opinions on which is better?

Anyone who doesn't already have the Orange Box should be picking that up right away at $15!

Isn't that a 10 dollar savings on Wrath of the Lich King? I might go pick that up.

@ akathatoneguy

QFT. Orange Box is a ****ing steal at fifteen dollars. I'm not even a big Valve guy in the first place and I thought it was great at 40 dollars.

We played Dokapon at Naia's. It was fun, but fucking HARD. We all kept getting killed by random monsters.

I'm seeing all these $79.99 Guitar Hero: World Tour guitar bundle deals...does anybody think any stores are going to go under the $75 price Amazon has had? That's the next game I really want to pick up.

My friend has also been trying to get me to pick up Left 4 Dead...but I think that'll drop somewhere too.

@Chilly Billy

For Last Remnant, I'd say don't bother, buying it at least. worth a rental if you don't have anything else in your queue . . .

Some nice deals here, guys...
Do! Ka! Pon! Kingdom.
Pretty neat little-known RPPG(role playing party game)!
My friends and I are actually getting into this...
If Nintendo were to make a game like this with Wind Waker characters, graphics and music it would own!
I'd pay a lot of red rupees for it!
Yeah?!

Probably worth mentioning that all the local FYE's I've been to that actually sell video games are clearing out their new Xbox, Gamecube, and GBA software for 75% off. If you have their Backstage pass it's another 10% off on top of that. I've scored some pretty good deals there recently, such as the Megaman Battle Network games for less than 5 bucks apiece.
