I usually wouldn't watch more than 2 games on sunday, 3-4 max but having 14 options is definitely worth the price!
Seems extremely overpriced.
I like the idea that you can get it on PS3 without being a full Direct TV subscriber.
What I'd really like to see is a lower priced version where you can pick one team, and see all their games.
That AND the ability to catch missed games later in the day.
Working full time + college really shits on my game watching schedule.
If you have DIRECTV, you can actually get this for an additional $50 on the PS3 if I'm understanding it right. Based on what you're saying, this is a cheaper alternative.
Besides being able to watch every game every Sunday you are also given a channel where you can display up to 8 games at a time, yes you can literally watch 8 games all at the same time. Amazing.
It also has a nice feature for all of us Fantasy Football players, we can input up to two fantasy teams and then have their stats displayed at the bottom of the screen every time they make a play.
It's nice to see that those without DirecTV will be able to experience the amazingness that is the NFL Sunday Ticket.
I already have DirecTV and they want me to pay a shitload for Sunday Ticket. I'm wondering why it would be cheaper through my PS3.
If this is correct ($50 for the season!) it will be fucking awesome.
Also, @ChillyBilly: football fist. When is the fantasy league starting back up?
$340 is a lot...but they supposedly have some off-season content, so if you can justify it with the offseason content, that isn't horrible I suppose. Maybe another season, this year is kind of bad for money.
Also live streams like on firstrow get the job done but maaan dealing with shitty quality and connections wears you out week-to-week.
So yes, I am willing to pay $340 to watch my team from the comfort of my own couch every Sunday. I love Sony and DirecTV for making this happen, because really, not having DirecTV was my only complaint about my current apartment, and I only wanted DirecTV for NFL Sunday Ticket.
