Saddam had WMDs. We sold them to him. And destroyed them in 1990.

The CIA brought him to power in 1968 because we didn't like the guy he replaced.

In short, Saddam has been our attack dog, built, bought, and paid for since day one of his corrupt regime. When he was no longer of value, we discarded him and wiped our feet. The people who supported Saddam still control our own government. They are Democrats and Republicans.

These are facts which are not known by the American people.

We currently have many, many, many more Saddams on our payroll.

The oil companies sell that oil to Japan and Asia because they can get twice as much (and it's closer so the margins are higher than bringing it stateside). That oil is not being secured to make Americans less dependent on oil or give us cheaper gas. It's profit for transnationals.
