Not to mention "Still Alive", the theme song, is one of the most amazingly on-point video game songs since Yamaoka took Silent Hill 4 to the house. I still get goosebumps watching the trailer with that song playing in it.
This game would most certainly subject to that sort of thing, it won't happen without any of it, I'm afraid.
Welcome to the "I'm altering the deal, pray I don't alter it any further" era of EA.
Agreed. Mirror's Edge managed to have a unique aesthetic that you can't quite put your finger on and the main theme is easily some of this gen's best music.
The soundtrack is a great listen if you're into ambient electronica.
BUt yeah, no shit that there's a market for ME2, people have only been begging for a second game for what, three years solid now?
Hopefully Mirror's Edge 2 would improve the combat - not the shooting, but the fast, unarmed attacks. It could be fairly frustrating at times.
Having played the Assassin's Creed series since playing Mirror's Edge, I'm not sure I'd enjoy first person parkour as much as third person though.
His comments always bring a smile to my face.
I think the one thing i really wanted from mirrors edge was an open world. It was fun to platform around, but it just felt like a giant corridor. I'd much rather have a city to run around in; memorizing pathways, delivering packages for side missions, etc.
EA is really using DICE to its full potential.
It wasn't perfect, but is still one of my favorite games and I still go back just to re-run those trials.
