You know the drop rate is significantly higher than D2 right?
This is the easiest way to see who has complaints and who is just on the bandwagon...
Or, and I have a feeling this really could be a thing, prices are going to he high because people know Blizzard is taking an exorbitant cut off the top. If people want to get anything out of the RMAH, like Blizzard had proposed to win people over on the idea in the first place (IE: When they made people feel as though they could quit their jobs to make money playing a video game), they're probably going to have to overprice things by a large margin.
"It's at this point that I will politely step away from Diablo III. I had my fun with it, but I have no intention of diving into a system that tries to put freemium content in a $60 product, and I have a feeling that the game's economy is going to be weird anyway. The in-game gold auctions were already ridiculous enough."
This sentiment is silly to me.. Play with your friends.. Don't use the RMAH at all (who, in their right mind, really wants to put down $200 on a digital item any way?).. Find other ways to make the game fun for you.. Don't let something completely optional ruin the *ENTIRE* experience for you.
Personally, when I pony up and get the game, I probably won't be using either AH at all. Just don't feel like I'll need it (though, I've never been much of an Inferno player any way - I do love how this game has made players very "Inferno, or get the fuck out")
Ladies and gentlemen: the thought process any Diablo III player with half a brain. But by all means sheep, keep at it. Grind away for the items Blizzard made artificially impossible to find to try and get you to cave and buy them on the RMAH. Have fun with that.
Oh right, they're NOT impossible to find, you're just jealous of people who put more time into the game than you do and you aren't comfortable just having fun on your own terms, ignoring what other people spend their time and money on.
First world problems.
EA makes bad ME3 ending and sells DLC: Massive rage all over the internet, gets elected worst company in the USA.
Capcom has on disc DLC: Massive rage all oer the internet, gets comments like "the only thing worse than capcom are the retards that buy their games.
Blizzard takes 12 years to build their whole game arround the concept of the real money auction house to win even more money (and forces everyone to be online, is one of the first singe player games with lag, constant server manteinance, peole from south america are forced to play in spanish, etc): Has and army of fans defending it at all costs.
its the level playing field that makes online games fun.
Thanks to the success of this crap I'm sure activision will start selling aimbots in call of duty.
