Capcom has just sent us word that their much-anticipated (once PS3 "exclusive") action title, Devil May Cry 4, is set to also hit both the Xbox 360 and PC. While no platform specific features have been revealed (360 achievements, etc.), I suspect this announcement (or confirmation, as the case may be) will open the flood gates for quite a bit of information in the very near future.
To many, this comes as no surprise. With console exclusives going the way of the dodo, DMC 4 is just one game in what's becoming a long list of franchise "traitors."
So, what's next? Or better yet, if you had your druthers, what game(s) would you like to see, uh, "explode" all over your favorite console?

Dynamic action and undeniable style combine with unprecedented fighting options and a gripping story to produce the incomparable experience that only a Devil May Cry game can deliver.
oh noes another "exclusive" for Sony lost to the winds of commerce. I'm glad these companies are finally giving us gamers choices instead of forcing us.
Heavenly Sword won't go multi-platform because I am almost sure Ninja Theory is a Sony subsidiary like Polyphony Digital. Although if people think Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Resident Evil and games like that aren't going to make it to the 360... you are just fooling yourselves. This shouldn't be a suprise to anybody.
That pic is wrong. So wrong I saved it to use later as an image bomb.
DMC4 going 360 is good news for me, since now I can play it without needing another console. I'd be excited about MGS4 too, but the controls in Snake Eater annoyed me so much I'll just skip it.
To tell you the truth, I don't have high hopes to see FFXIII on the 360. It could happen, but I actually see that as one of the few exclusives the PS3 may actually keep. Sad too, though I don't think FFXIII will be an awesome game, I would still like to play it but I'm not buying a PS3 just for that.
I was talking to a friend about Resident Evil as I was posting. I have no idea why I put that in my post as I already knew it. Good catch you 10ft tall, two ton selling bastard. TO BILL BRASKY!!!!!!!!
I am starting to worry a bit. I bought both the 360 and PS3 because I thought that there was going to be at least a few exclusives that I had to have and I'm sure there still is going to be a few but c'mon sony.
Little Big Planet, Heavenly Sword, MGS4 (even though Snake Eater sucked) FF XIII and there will be more
I may become a Ratchet fan after Resistance
metal gear will stay exclusive at least for a period because kojima said so. final fantasy stays on ps3 because the white engine has been developed uber extensively on the ps3. god of war is published by sony and so is heavenly sword so they are stuck. the only thing we have to worry about now is Tekken.
its so sad, exclusives make fanboys slightly legitimate. thats it! i want mass effect and blue dragon on ps3 NOW!!! its not fair! just cuz x-box is doing well all these developers tuck their dicks in thier sskirts and run towards the more established system......meh, xbox will become obsolete soon, muahhah, MUAHAHA, BWAHAHAHAHAHAAH.*tears*
Sucks to be Sony right now, but CAPCOM always does this, so it's no real surprise. RE4 was supposed to be exclusive, and there are the constant rumors that Lost Planet and Dead Rising coming to the PS3... I'd say MGS4 is the game that PS3 has to worry the least about. Kojima already said that MGS4 needed all the extra space that Bluray offered... of course you could always put the game on multiple discs, but its just another snag. I wouldn't be surprised to see MGS4 released for the 360 sometime later though...
Heres a quote, seeing as you are uninformed... like most fanboys
"Final Fantasy should come to Xbox 360', says Sakaguchi"
>> From computerandvideogames.com:
[QUOTE]
After leaving the company to bring his RPG duo Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to Xbox 360, Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi says that Square Enix should bring Final Fantasy to Microsoft's console.
The Mistwalker boss told Gamespot: "I feel that the Final Fantasy series should come to Xbox 360 as well. This is wise. It makes so much sense to me...it has so much potential in North America and in Europe. So there's a great chance for the series to succeed on 360 as well."
Continuing the chat Sakaguchi-san suggested that Square Enix could port its upcoming PS3 instalment Final Fantasy XIII to 360 fairly simply, because "they made the White Engine open platform".

The exact moment that David Jaffe emerges from his Ivory Tower with a flagon of Kristol in one hand and a wench in the other and screams that God of War 3 will be on the 360, the Metreon here in San Francisco will fall upon itself crushing everyone within it and every PS3 in North America will self-destruct.
Unfortunately, GoW3 will be PS3 specific and I'll have to buy one, but goddammit, if any game is gonna be worth 650 bucks, it's gonna be God of War 3.
huh... with the gba outselling the gba... and now this
well I think its only a matter of time before sony lowers its pricing on the ps3...
alot.
I'm talking cheaper than 360 pricing. because that is the only thing that will save them.
no one will buy their console for like four exclusives...
Of Sonys big third party exclusives this is the one I'm least excited about but I haven't played DMC much, I bought DMC1, 2 months ago but didn't get far before I got sidetracked (Playing MGS series). But in the end I'm happy for Microsoft getting a little more cred as a console maker and pulling weight in the industry. And opposite to what a lot of people say M$ is a cool company. A friend that worked for them took me on a tour once and showed me around there campus and it is pretty cool, ex.
1. All you can drink sodas
2. Company store ($25 XP, $35 office, $15 Xbox Games)
3. Foosball tables
4. Rock Climbing wall
Then only setback is that if you are walking along and Bill Gates approaches you aren't allowed to make eye contact and you must grovel and kiss his ring.
The biggest problem with it was that it was completely dumbed down and way too easy. Depends on how much free time you have, might still be worth a play through. 3 is actually a prequel to the first game, so you wouldn't really be missing anything by skipping 2.

I'd like to see Fish Dude to come all next-gen consoles, Wii included.
