Oh gee! What a surprise!
Capcom has just sent us word that their much-anticipated (once PS3 "exclusive") action title, Devil May Cry 4, is set to also hit both the Xbox 360 and PC. While no platform specific features have been revealed (360 achievements, etc.), I suspect this announcement (or confirmation, as the case may be) will open the flood gates for quite a bit of information in the very near future.
To many, this comes as no surprise. With console exclusives going the way of the dodo, DMC 4 is just one game in what's becoming a long list of franchise "traitors."
So, what's next? Or better yet, if you had your druthers, what game(s) would you like to see, uh, "explode" all over your favorite console?

I'd like to see Fish Dude to come all next-gen consoles, Wii included.
That is all....
And why isn't this in the "Capitan Obvious" section? Seriously?
Oh man, if MGS4 appears in the 360 then that'd just be Icing in the Cake
Also, Soul Calibur. And REZ... I'll wait till after EEEE comes out to rephrase and reedit my wish list for REZ.
The only people that'd even remotely think this action would be bad is either Sony or PS3 fanboys.
I repeat:
Exclusivity is only good for fanboys. This is an all around good thing.
and anotha one gone! and anotha one gone! anotha one bites the dust!!
I loled at SONY they are so failures. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
sony is going to die out....
That pic is wrong. So wrong I saved it to use later as an image bomb.
DMC4 going 360 is good news for me, since now I can play it without needing another console. I'd be excited about MGS4 too, but the controls in Snake Eater annoyed me so much I'll just skip it.
P.S. Is it a guy or a girl?
And to answer you RJG, I think its a dude haha
I was talking to a friend about Resident Evil as I was posting. I have no idea why I put that in my post as I already knew it. Good catch you 10ft tall, two ton selling bastard. TO BILL BRASKY!!!!!!!!
Little Big Planet, Heavenly Sword, MGS4 (even though Snake Eater sucked) FF XIII and there will be more
I may become a Ratchet fan after Resistance
Yes, thats the sounds of the PS3 flushing down the toilet.
Yes, another
And Yes, Still Pwned!
its so sad, exclusives make fanboys slightly legitimate. thats it! i want mass effect and blue dragon on ps3 NOW!!! its not fair! just cuz x-box is doing well all these developers tuck their dicks in thier sskirts and run towards the more established system......meh, xbox will become obsolete soon, muahhah, MUAHAHA, BWAHAHAHAHAHAAH.*tears*
Heres a quote, seeing as you are uninformed... like most fanboys
"Final Fantasy should come to Xbox 360', says Sakaguchi"
>> From computerandvideogames.com:
After leaving the company to bring his RPG duo Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey to Xbox 360, Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi says that Square Enix should bring Final Fantasy to Microsoft's console.
The Mistwalker boss told Gamespot: "I feel that the Final Fantasy series should come to Xbox 360 as well. This is wise. It makes so much sense to me...it has so much potential in North America and in Europe. So there's a great chance for the series to succeed on 360 as well."
Continuing the chat Sakaguchi-san suggested that Square Enix could port its upcoming PS3 instalment Final Fantasy XIII to 360 fairly simply, because "they made the White Engine open platform".
And there you have it
[insert hilarious image macro here]
[insert extra element of cleverness]
Unfortunately, GoW3 will be PS3 specific and I'll have to buy one, but goddammit, if any game is gonna be worth 650 bucks, it's gonna be God of War 3.
well I think its only a matter of time before sony lowers its pricing on the ps3...
alot.
I'm talking cheaper than 360 pricing. because that is the only thing that will save them.
no one will buy their console for like four exclusives...
1. All you can drink sodas
2. Company store ($25 XP, $35 office, $15 Xbox Games)
3. Foosball tables
4. Rock Climbing wall
Then only setback is that if you are walking along and Bill Gates approaches you aren't allowed to make eye contact and you must grovel and kiss his ring.
You should check out DMC 3. It's by far the best one, and so hard it will kick your ass sideways.

The biggest problem with it was that it was completely dumbed down and way too easy. Depends on how much free time you have, might still be worth a play through. 3 is actually a prequel to the first game, so you wouldn't really be missing anything by skipping 2.
If you were to ask what are Sony's classic first party titles from the last generation, I guess you'd be answered:
MGS, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry and GTA.
Two of these have already gone multi-platform and a third looks like it may follow suit (MGS). Couple that with the fact that Sakaguchi has just made two games for the 360 and that he said in an interview he has no problem with FF on the 360 (though he doesn't choose where it goes) and it all looks a bit shakey.
That said Twin Snakes did turn up on the Gamecube and you can play DMC3 for the PC, but not on day of release.
Those are only 4 titles however, and Sony have other exclusives
God of War, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, Little Big Planet.
We know there'll be no Heavenly Sword 360 in the near future because Microsoft were offered the exclusive rights and turned it down.
Another factor is that presumably future GH games (you think Activision bought the franchise NOT to churn out 5 more sequels.) are going to be PS3/360 shares and the next katamari game is also multi-plat.
Yet ANOTHER thing to consider is that team Ico are said to be working on their game (Sony exclusive we are guessing). If that's a sequel to or something similar to Ico or Shadow of the Collossus then Im sure it'll sell well.
Driving and shooting games aside (things the 360 has riches of) it looks like the PS3 is still going to be strong in Action/Adventure and Adventure/Platformers:
God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Team Ico??, Little Big Planet.
If these titles are better than what the 360 has to offer in the future (Mass Effect, Bioshock, Shadowrun, Too Human, Fable 2, Halo 3) then you should choose a PS3, if not then go 360.
Despite FFXIII for the PS3 360 is looking pretty strong on RPGs, though you never know. Bioware said they are working on games for all the major platforms, maybe Dragon Age is going to be PS3 exclusive? Probably not, but assuming its out say 2008-9 then multi-plat would make sense (PC/PS3/360).
Its nice to see that this 'console war' is for once being argued about over actual games.
