Devil May Cry 4 demo may be coming soon photo

According to French gaming Web site Jeaux France, Capcom are readying a playable demo of Devil May Cry 4 before year's end. This information comes from Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu 360, but a Capcom representative on their official forums has come out and said the info is incorrect ... but not too far from the truth.

"Wat a littile while longer and the demo strategy will be clear," the rep wrote. "The news you're looking for is not far off ... a little more patience please."

While I certainly hope "demo strategy" doesn't mean some sort of miserable retail/pre-order tie-in (like was recently done with Turok for the 360), any chance to get Devil May Cry 4 in our homes sooner is a good thing. We should have more information on the demo next week, when the official Devil May Cry Web site is said to be dropping the demo info bombs.

Worst case scenario: You have to preorder the special edition of the game...and promise to buy the rest of the godawful anime.

Demo on 360 or PS3? If it’s just the former, (A) I’m not interested, and (B) that’s not cool.

@BrOnXbOmBr21: It has got to be for both the 360 and PS3. The PS3 is the lead development console on this one so it would make sense they have a PS3 demo.
