I stopped playing Deus Ex today in order to mix things up and play something else for a bit. Never realised how bland my other games were.
I can dig it. Deus Ex was awesome!
I hope the DLC will incorporate into the story mode on subsequent playthroughs as well, like the Assassin's Creed 2 DLC.

I just hope by temporary losing your Aug it doesn't diminish the gameplay variety options. I lived that I could approach any scenario however I choose.

I don't know about that. It sounds to me like anyone who doesn't have a save file prior to that point in the game is going to have to start a new game.
My save file, (yes I'm a solo-file person), is in the final room so I could see all the endings. I somehow doubt I'll be able to boot up that save and play the DLC while Adam "remembers" those missing 3 days.

Normally DLC being announced this soon after launch would annoy me but I'm actually glad that Deus Ex goodness is gonna be out soon.
This DLC could consist of nothing but a single empty white room and it'd still be a day one purchase. This game was just that good. Standing in an empty white room in Deus Ex is still more fun than most other games I've played this year.
Will they also release a patch that fixes the damn misplaced NPC bug? I've put my playthrough on hold because of that; I'm not fucking off to China without completing Cloak & Daggers.
I'd buy this shit if it was nothing but Adam Jensen in one hallway full of enemies and a ventilation shaft to crawl through between patrols. Just put a couple dudes close enough for a double assassination and I will sink hours into it. I shill haven't scraped all the dried jizz off my mouse from my last playthrough.

I'm still in my first playthrough and I fucking love this game. I'll gladly pay for more, seeing as it's so good and I paid practically nothing for it ($28.80 pre-order from Green Man Gaming. Fuck yeah).

I don't like that this game is getting DLC. It's complete enough without Square trying to rape the consumers. Still, with a game so damn well made, more cannot be a bad thing.

Is the non-PC version good too? I upgraded my video card to a PNY GTX 550 TI just for this. Really, it feels at home on the PC.
I will definitely not say no to more content for this brilliant game, and I'm definitely curious as to what will happen during the arc of the DLC. I'll definitely get the DLC once it comes out.
This is one of the only games out there where I hear the phrase "Downloadable Content" and I don't even hesitate to think about buying it.

I like how they did this because it doesn't feel like the core game is missing anything. The cutscenes make it seem as if he simply shuts himself down and sleeps the whole time. Much better than Assassins Creed 2 for example, where it's obvious that you're not getting the full experience without DLC.
I didn't ask for this. But I sure as shit will buy anything with Deus Ex on it! Methinks it might be time to change my avatar to suit my new love.
The Deus ex human revolution story is pretty incomplete, whether this was for dlc or not I don't care, I just want to play some moarr, so gimme.
