I installed the game to Hard Drive on the 360 and it didn't really seem to affect the load times. Kinda sucks but I'll manage. (I'd rather load than wait the lockout period on a failed hack.)

Deus Ex PC patch: Faster load times, tweaked controls
If you've been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution lately, chances are you haven't been enjoying the often painfully long load times. Thankfully, a recent patch addresses the issue, resulting in "improvements of over 50%" on certain machines. For me personally, loads now seem to be between two to three times faster. The patch also tinkers with the controls: diagonal movement isn't faster -- as originally intended -- and tweaks to mouse sensitivity have been made. You'll be able to feel the difference when you boot up Human Revolution next time. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Will this becoming to consoles? Are consoles even affected by these bugs? Amazon still haven't given me my copy of Deus Ex. I would love less load times, it's really my only problem. With me starting gun fights with cops all the time (I'm evil) I see these load screens to many times... I noticed this on my lunch brake... It is MUCH faster... Now if only my box was good enough for 8 x aa id be happy @Gorescream: Users reported loading times cut immensely before the patch if they turned off V-Sync, so I assume they programmed it to constrain loading processes as well and this patch removed that problem. I've put in 15 hours or so and I haven't even left the first city. Anything to sweeten the pot is welcome. I've actually heard of this problem before. Apparently this happens when you tie in a graphic to your loading progress, usually a progress bar. Games might sleep for the remainder of a frame if waiting for V-Sync, which in this case, is used to draw the bar. To be fair I've not had a single problem with load times for Due Sex, usually takes about 4-7 seconds for me to get back into the action Any word on a console patch? The load times are killing me on 360. Other than that, I love this game! fuck the load times just give me the ability to remap the controller for christ's sake i hate clicking in the right stick to aim. Like a few others here I never had a problem with the load times, but I appreciate that they're even shorter now. :) So no update for consoles? Honestly, these are some of the longest load times I have ever seen in a game. The only game I can think of that comes close is Dead Rising 2, which topped 1 minute for some loads. It is frustrating because sometimes you just want to re-load a recent save so you can try something differently, and the LONG load times make that a pain in the arse. Also, Lol at all the console hate...Last time I checked, a multi-platform release selling better on the PC compared to the console versions is as rare as spotting a purple unicorn in your shower...Lolz at the PC Fanboys still all upset that the PC 3rd class for AAA games. @EKGProd: ignore Tekmagik, he probably has nothing going on in his life so he has to feel better about loading a videogame 20 seconds faster than everyone else who has a life. ;D
