Deus Ex: Human Revolution on PC will use Steamworks photo

Hard to believe Deus Ex: Human Revolution isn't releasing until late August. The PC version, as was revealed today by Square-Enix, is set to use Steamworks. It's the obvious choice, for sure, but not necessarily a guaranteed one. As per usual, automatic updates, cloud saving, and achievements are supported.

It was also recently disclosed that the PC version will do DirectX 11, AMD Eyefinity (up to five monitors), and 3D, should you have the necessary equipment to make use of any of these fancy technologies. PC Gamer has the scoop.

At the time of writing, Human Revolution isn't up for pre-order; it ought to be, by the time you see this. Pre-launch pricing is $44.99 for the standard edition, and $53.99 for the Augmented edition. The latter includes a digital art book, making-of special, various videos, a motion graphic novel, the soundtrack, and a copy of Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition.

I really can't wait for this. It's a bummer it comes out right before PAX 2011, I'd love a free couple of weeks to play Human Revolution.

BUENO.
This is perfect news, considering I've ordered the Aug edition. Everything's still nice and in one place and autoupdated. I approve of this news.

What in the fuck, 5 monitors?! Who the fuck would need that for a game?!

@KingSigy

Well, I would definitely have 5 monitors, if I had the money.

I'm really excited about this, but I'm wary that they won't be able to catch the same awesomeness that made the first DE a cult classic.
I'm not pre-ordering.

The more I see of DE: Human Revolution, the more it begins to grow on me.

If this continues, I could pick up the Augmented Edition later on down the line.

I will save my anti-steam rant for another time. 360 version it is.

Hopefully Steam will be optional to run this game as well.
