It's been roughly four million years since we saw the first teaser trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and finally, after such a huge wait, we have gotten what we wanted... a full gameplay trailer! Oh wait, no... it's another CGI video. BAH!

Cynicism aside, this is still a beautiful and exciting trailer. The music is fantastic and the story looks really promising. I am quite thrilled by what I'm seeing, and I really hope we see some gameplay to back it up. I'll definitely stop myself getting too hyped before I see how it plays, but I'd be lying if I didn't say this video raised my expectations considerably.

What do you think? Getting hot around the collar, are you doubtful?

The music and presentation in general was absolutely amazing, even with Bale's Batman gravel voice. But as we all know, this could still turn out shit, or the greatest thing ever. Even with beautiful music and cutscenes, it could get a 4.2. (almost relevant).

But I have no history with the Deus Ex games, but this really caught my attention, but I do need to see some gameplay, I don't even know what genre this game is yet!

Too much emotion, not enough intrigue. Looked like a typical Hollywood-style trailer rather than Deus Ex. I'm still gonna keep my eye on it but I wish it were headed in a different direction.

The trailer has me hooked. Now let's hope the game itself can give the same feel.

I hope they don't try to 'simplify' it too much. I've never played the first (I can't play old 3D games, they look too bad) but it sounds like my kind of game. Amazing trailer though.

Super awesome trailer. I doubt the game will be that exciting though, but we'll see.

It sounds like they're going to stay in the same vein as the originals, a far as story goes, and that's very good. I just hope squeenix doesn't get too involved, these cutscenes have me cautiously excited, due to worries that it ends up too dependent on these cutscenes.

That has to be the best video game trailer I've ever seen.

If the developers can come up with that, hopefully the game will be just as exciting/intense.

I don't know what to think. Dues Ex (the original never touched the second) was a masterpiece of a game that I would recommend to anyone and after seeing this trailer it brings hope to me that another could be on the horizon. However, square enix worries me as they love to throw in a thousand cut scenes for everything which would just ruin the game in my eyes. Hope that does not happen.

Just going to have to wait and see.

I couldn't hear it since my PC at work has no sound card, but the video looks amazing.

Looks like an awesome mix of MATRIX + Minority Report + MGS4 + Blade Runner. I tried playing the PS2 game last month, but just couldn't do it, but this one looks like something I can handle.

Definitely a hot trailer. Obviously isn't indicative of gameplay, but I think they're heading in the right direction as far as the style of the game is concerned. Definitely digging the Blade Runner-y vibe. Part of the fun of the first game was the mystery you were uncovering and I hope they build upon that aspect for this one.

been storming through DX1 right now, got all the way up to the hong kong segment on realistic WITHOUT SAVING once then i got killed by a robot trying to escape the MJ12 base :(. Ah well. Im just praying this game is not choked by context sensitive actions ie, sneak up behind somone and press x to stealth kill or climb ladder, and theres some subtle humour like a joseph manderly office meeting or someone like him and i think they should flesh out gunther and anna navarre.

Wow. Am I the only one that thought "if they did a whole movie in CGI like this I'd so go and see it"?

I mean, I know that FF:TSW was a flop. But this, the trailer just gave me goosebumps. Looks awesome. I eagerly await this game to see if it delivers.

"Too much emotion, not enough intrigue. Looked like a typical Hollywood-style trailer rather than Deus Ex. I'm still gonna keep my eye on it but I wish it were headed in a different direction"

The problem witht he first game, one of its only flaws other than lackluster characters, is that the plot lacked emotion. The sequel was better at portraying the social conflict in that regard, and by this trailer, will be topped by the new game.

The first game is a flawed masterpiece, and while the second game was a step back gameplay wise, had an excellent story as well, in some apsects better. Hopefully, this game will bring both emotion and intrigue.
