The guys from Eidos Montreal have been discussing all kinds of details concerning the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution this past week. In the first video, displayed above, they talk about the PC interface and how the classic Deus Ex bottom toolbar makes a glorious return.
In the second video, displayed below, the devs talk about the AMD features like Eyefinity support and 3D, and you can see a very lucky person traversing ventilation shafts on three monitors. Jealous rage!
These two videos also lets us award the "Best Mastery of the English Speech Award" in the category "Montreal" to Jonathan Jacques "Mon Dieu il a un" Belletête, art director for the Deus Ex prequel. Congratulations Jonathan!
The final video specifically concerns the PC port, developed by Dutch studio Nixxes in cooperation with Eidos Montreal from the start. If you were worried that the PC version would be a bad console port, this video is for you. It's worth noting that PC Gamer did an in-depth report on the PC UI and settings today, and it looks like there is still some work left to be done. Luckily they have three months to do just that.
Elias Toufexis and Michael Mando, the voice actors for Deus Ex: Human Revolution's Adam Jensen, and Far Cry 3's Vaas, sit down with Michael Mando Films to talk about their roles as videogame voice actors. The duo talk about their work, and then hug each other all over the floor like the bestest of friends that they are.
Awwwwwww.
