Destructoid (the show): It's a hump day treat!

11:06 PM on 12.15.2010

Today's episode of the Destructoid show isn't as long as the previous few have been. And yet, we somehow managed to pack about 2 days worth of news into 13 minutes and 49 seconds.

I start off by confessing my love for SEGA, while Holmes swoons over the sexy new Okamiden trailers and the expansion of Ghost Trick to iPhone, but not before peer pressuring you into buying the new Humble Indie Bundle. And of course there's some Marvel vs Capcom 3 character speculation. Last but not least, we give you the rundown of our Game of the Year nominees.

And to top it all off? Our pick for YouTube comment of the week. Oh, and you're going to want to see this one.

It's a good'un.

No Persona 4: Golden this year? Well, it wasn't all bad. The year certainly wasn't slouching when it came to doling out 50+ hour time sinks. It started out strong with Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch all the way back i...more

The winner of Destructoid's best 2013 platformer

The frustrating thing about these game of the year posts is they all follow the same format. First I'll tell you about what a great year 2013 was for games. Then I'll briefly talk in vague terms about the category in question...more
