...in my opinion.
Man, Pikmin 3 should've been Dtoid's best E3 game. I'M SO PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW, UUHH!
It was an impressive demo, but i have a lot of questions about it.
Also, GoTS is obviously "Chest Bumper featuring Jonathan Holmes.
Gaming sites need more women on their staff.
....Also, Watchdogs.
I can't say anything about TLoU, as I aven't seen anything yet something tells me it is being overratted...
I mean, different character interaction depending on specific actions has existed in video games since at least the Tales Series.
Is it the inventory, crafting system, scarce resource, the non-regenerative health bar, medkits, the reactive A.I., the post-apocalyptic setting? What is it that says "UNCHARTED" to you? I would very much like to know.
@jc83: The demo ends after she stabs that dude in the back, and Joel shoots him. You don't see how she reacts after that. You also don't know what she's been through previously, and how desensitized she is to that kind of violence. The fact is you've seen 6 minutes of footage from one scene, in one level, of an entire game.
Okay: how?
Exactly.
We need more of those hilarious sexism in games articles.
Looks like an average 3rd person shooter with a cover system (how convenient! tables everywhere! let's use them to hide!), shiny graphics and a Ellen Page wannabe. The E3 demo was kind of impressive but really looked like a long cutscene or scripted sequence, can it play differently or should you go according to the script? I'll just remind you people about the infamous Killzone 2 trailer.
Anyway, Uncharted is one of the most overrated franchises ever, so i'm expecting a lot of 10s and awards for this one.
And no, I'm not trolling. I'm not calling names to anyone, but I'm fairly certain I'll get flamed anyway.
and if we consider what other titles were shown at E3 The Last of Us wouldn't even crack Top10, IMO. Watch Dogs, Rayman Legends, Divinity: Original Sin, ArmA 3, Sleeping Dgos, Hitman Absolution, Pikmin 3, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed III etc.
Which eastern game that shouldnt have and didnt win do you think should have won?
@laharl
I kind of get where you are coming from as every RPG no matter how different is pretty much the same unoriginal and confusing mess to me.
also. watch dogs has scripted parts, yet no one complains about it.
@sofik88 why do you even comment on ps3 articles anymore? we all know you dont care, hate every ps3 game ever made, and have a personal vendetta against sony. just give it up already.
For everyone with doubts, Playstation All Stars was so much fun it's unbelievable! Sly Cooper also delivered on all fronts.
The Last of Us deserves this! XD
But the staff are actually there at E3, they’re playing these games, and getting more in depth looks at them, it’s a totally different perspective, they’re participants and we’re spectators.
So, Watch Dogs – looks great, we love it!
The Last of Us – great in person, they loved it!
Everybody wins! But hey, don’t let that stop you getting upset....
It isn't that I don't like what's there but rather that I keep seeing it over and over again.

Uncharted w/ less ammo is going to be really cool, but still disappointed that they didn't go for Jak
As far as light banter between kills, you'd be surprised how fast normalcy bias changes when your whole paradigm changes. In a new world where everything is fucked, the only way to STAY human is to make light of the situation. It makes them human, not less human.
There were some great games on display and Last of Us definitely stands out near the top. Too bad there were no surprises other than the great looking Watch Dogs.
Crash was always Universal's. The IP was created by, but was never owned by ND and certainly not by Sony, despite the original exclusivity deal associated with publishing.
Universal became Universal Vivendi. They own Activision Blizzard, who now handle the property.
You may now continue disliking whomever you choose for whatever fictional reasons you can imagine.
