Personally, I am a sucker for post-apocalyptic games/settings. I was already partially roped-in just on that premise alone, throw in all the juicy bits I have seen and I am pretty ready to play this game.

The fact that Watch Dogs wasn't nominated for GOTS is flat out ridiculous. The Black Ops II gameplay was painfully disappointing, as was Resident Evil 6. Tomb Raider is a joke so I won't even difnigify that with any serious consideration. And Metal Gear Rising? Now you're just fucking with me. That's not even funny. The fact that those four got a nod and Watch Dogs is nowhere to be found is absurd.
But Last of Us is definitely GOTS. At least you got that much right.

To me, Watch Dogs and The Last of Us were so fantastic, that if either one would have won, I would still be happy. These two games not only seem to have some of the best graphics out there, but the way they seem to handle the AI and the way you interact with the environment.
Both games seem scripted (the perfect stoplight hack in WD, and the enemy interactment in TLOU), but I don't doubt them one bit. If these kind of AI becomes the standard, just imagine what next-gen will be like!
Btw, Hideo Kojima approved of this game, and even backed it up by saying that the demo we've seen during the conference was NOT scripted... So yeah, there you have it folks. If Kojima approved of this game, then it must be awesome!

Yeah I'm okay with this. When I originally heard about The Last of Us, I wasn't real impressed with what I saw. Now that I've seen some actually gameplay footage, I have to admit I'm pretty excited for it and I don't even own a PS3.

I agree. As great a surprise as Watch Dogs was, The Last of Us took Uncharted, which is probably the best Action/Adventure title of this gen amped up every element and threw in the remaining pieces that were missing in Uncharted, inventory and non-regenerating health bar with recovery items, in to the mix. There really wasn't a doubt after I saw that video.
I really loved Watch Dogs, but it didn't grab me the same way that The Last of Us did. The A.I. in that game looks fucking amazing. Still, both look like phenomenally good games and I cannot wait to get more info on both of them. Good choice Dtoid!
Can't wait to play this once and never play it again, same as the other Uncharted games. Good games, but usually worth one playthrough max.

Watch Dogs was the most impressive game that I saw at E3 because it brought the most to the table. The Last of Us looked like Uncharted in a city with zombies.

Watch Dogs looks a lot more interesting than the last of us, then again I was not really a fan of uncharted so this may have influences me as does the fact that I rather play on pc then on my hacked ps3.
OK so this game has a lot of potential... but, I didn't like what I saw of the gameplay. It looks like Uncharted with different characters. And I don't mean that in the "it is literally the same" kind of way. I mean that it includes characters that casually banter before KILLING A LOT OF PEOPLE and then casually banter again. It doesn't make any sense for people to do that. It actually makes them less human.

I think that if last of us wasnt made by naughty dogs , there will be less people calling it uncharted clone .Are Halo and Battlefield clones of each other ? In both you shoot , stab and drive cars around a battle zone .
Watch dogs won for me just becuse they showed so much game play (im sure they made parts of it look better than it might if you play it yourself)
