Update: We were thinking of doing an experimental thing with Left 4 Dead but in the end we're going with Team Fortress 2.  We hope to capture the matches over Source Recorder and stream it back on Destructoid after the match.  

If you know any of these guys, who do you think is taking the big Cyberpower water-cooled Intel Core i7 system home?

Yeah I have no clue how you can have L4D played for a competition, when the game has no proper "scores", supports 8-players tops at a time, and a lot of people might not even be able to run it. I would've just gone with Quake.

But whatever, I get an extra copy of L4D for my boyfriend now.

hah, considering my home computer is a mac, this is gonna be interesting. hope my work laptop can handle L4D (hint: it prolly can't). i'll get it taken care of.

Sadly, my XP install got totally f-ed by VMWare Fusion, so I didn't get to pwn in TF2. Sad, sad, day. :(
